North Park contains one of the largest concentrations of pre-war residential architecture in San Diego — Craftsman bungalows from the 1910s and 20s, Spanish Revival homes, streamlined deco apartments from the 1930s, and modest post-war houses from the 1940s and 50s. This architecturally rich housing stock comes with a correspondingly old plumbing infrastructure.
